Currently based in Northern Ireland, and studying for his MFA in photography at Ulster University, David splits his time between commissioned and personal projects.

Utilizing conceptual and documentary approaches David explores boundaries physical, circumstantial and psychological that hold humanity in-between.

Davids current project ‘a place to sleep’ is about his position within the boundaries of the provincial town he calls home.

Davids work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions. Commissioned most recently as part of ‘SIXTEEN’ exhibition that is touring throughout the UK including FORMAT International Photography Festival, 2019 through this project his portrait of Patrick Adams was published most recently on the cover of the Guardian weekend magazine.
